Organizers

WordCamp Sacramento is a community-organized event put together by local WordPress users like you who volunteer their time and energy to support WordPress in our greater Sacramento region.

Get to know the 2019 organizing team:

Jose Castaneda

Lead Organizer

Jose is a creative, humoristic, member of the Theme Review team and a moderator on the WordPress support forums. He began contributing to WordPress in late 2011 and loves to help as much as he can by documenting, sharing his knowledge on the support forums, writing about WordPress on his personal blog, and sometimes creating a video or two.

He is self-taught in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and loves to learn new things. He studied Web Design at Westwood College for a short time. He loves to create new things whether they be drawings, code, or music. On his down time he plays Flamenco guitar or will race his son in Mario Kart.
